Privacy Policy
DaySpark is a daily reflection app. Everything stays on your device. We do not collect, sell, store, or transmit your personal data.
What stays on your device
- Sparks you save and reflections you write
- Your selected mood or emotional state
- Your preferred reminder time
- Your daily streak and usage history
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard storage. If you have iCloud enabled, your data may sync to your other Apple devices via Apple's iCloud service. We never see or store any of it on our servers — because we do not run any servers.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data
- We do not require user accounts, logins, or passwords
- We do not send any data to advertisers
- We do not use analytics tools or third-party trackers
- We do not use crash reporting that transmits off-device
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location
- We do not collect health, biometric, or financial data
Notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's standard notification system. No notification is sent from any server. If you turn off notifications in Settings, no reminder fires.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your payment information is processed by Apple — we never see it. Apple shares only your subscription status (active, trial, or expired) with the app on your device. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
Your control
Because everything lives on your device, you control everything. To remove all DaySpark data, simply delete the app. To manage iCloud sync, use your device's iCloud settings. Questions? Email dayspark365@outlook.com.
Applicable privacy laws
DaySpark is available worldwide through the App Store. Because we do not collect or process personal data, regional privacy laws apply minimally — primarily through Apple's own data handling for subscriptions, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
DaySpark is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly handle their data. The app is rated 9+ on the App Store.
Changes
We will update this page if our approach to data ever changes. Material updates will be announced in-app and take effect only after notice.
